The Carousel, Geelong Waterfront

Located in the centre of Geelong's famous waterfront precinct, The Carousel has become one of the most popular wedding locations in the district since it opened in the year 2000.

Housed in a modern custom-built steel and glass pavilion overlooking Corio Bay, this steam driven carousel - originally built in New York in 1892 - has been fully restored to provide a colorful backdrop for your special celebration..The roundabout has 36 hand-carved painted horses and a replica 1898 Gaviola band organ is also a feature. The photo opportunities both inside the building and also in the surrounding Steampacket Place/Gardens are many.

Open to the public seven days a week, this popular attraction may be privately booked for special events such as weddings.
